Hi – I’m Laurie. I hold a BA in Business Management and Marketing, after deciding that I should pursue a college degree at the age of 49. I graduated with my youngest son and we walked the commencement ceremony together. Such fun!
I spent a decade as a buyer at a private college, honing my skills in procurement and vendor relations.
From there, I owned and operated Gardening Junky, a garden and vintage shop that allowed me to combine my passion for gardening, along with the marketing and the business aspects of running a retail shop.
Now, I build websites and manage marketing for the company where I am currently a client relations specialist. I am always looking at the world through the lens of marketing and logistics. Yes, a bit of a geek!
I live in northern Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior. I love traveling, gardens, photography, hikes with my lab MayBelle, and spending time with family and friends – which typically includes a glass of wine and some laughs.
